Well, you forgot to mention that it's chargeable affair if is no fault on M1 part. :s8:

He can always make some noise and request the tech to change the ONT and ask the tech for waive. This is first time and just want to be sure. Not hard to ask for waive unless he always asking them to come and actually no problem. One or two time not a problem. I even change ONT once.

The M1 typical download speed for 1 Gbps plan is 624.3 – 805.4. You may wish to refer to M1 website to understand how they measure the speed.

Can't help if you don't understand the meaning of "giving example".

Anyway, there is no issue loading pics from this URL: https://instagram.com/explore/tags/綜藝玩很大/

Also no issue in loading pics from PM Lee FB page.

Note: I am just giving an example as I don't use FB or Instagram

not working on my end either. cant give you an example. simply not loading homepage. web on desktop or mobile app.

your link wouldnt load the pictures either.

The Pinoy technical assistant said my i3 was the problem. she said if i upgrade to i5, i'll get download speed around 600-700 and i7 will get me 700-800 download speed.

i think i'll just change to another technical officer when she gets back to me in a week time.

For home user, they can re-provision and do some work from their backend to resolve the issue. If still not resolved, the most they can do is change ONT.

@albert @henry, thanks for the replies.

i'll try to hook up a different machine and test the speed again. my spare core 2 duo machine has gigabit ethernet port, will try to the test and see how it goes. it has a fresh win 8 installation.

if it still fails, i'll try to talk them to send a technician down to check.

@sun, i do get 300-400 download speed at times.

I request for change of ONT due to disconnection whenever my ip change. They change and left immediately and never ask for payment at all. I think can use first time do not know as a reason if they charge for such service.

I have the same problem as well. Can't load instagram and partial pics in FB on Fibre Broadband. Anyone managed to resolve this issue?

Sent from using GAGT

Mine was disabled and it didn't work also. Saw their facebook got a few customers experiencing the same problem.

Which router are you all using ah?

Just notified that yestersday night around 10pm to midnight -- facebook some photo can't load...

But after changing primary DNS to 8.8.8.8, facebook load very quicky... don't know is it because M1 DNS server overload or what...

Possible that the hdd has slow write speed and thus affect the download speed?

Most com will depend on the RAM first and TS already has 8gb. Do not need to guess as isp will be able to settle it. The most change ONT and reprovision again.

Hi everyone,
I have just gotten my M1 1Gbps ($39/mth) up and is using the ASUS RT-AC87U. The speed I am getting is rather slow. Using the 2.4GHz band, the download speed hardly goes beyond 50Mbps, while the 5GHz band will hit max. at around 115Mbps. Uploading speed hits slightly above 210Mbps. These speeds appear too slow. Is there something wrong with my broadband or are there any settings to be done?
Thank you.
