Does 2GB make the phone faster? Apple has always made it clear that ram doesn't matter. With proper memory management, you will not need 2GB. Yes with 2GB you can sideload more stuff but seriously the ram size should not be a factor on why you should get an iPhone anyway.
10 cents opinion.
Sorry.... singaporean here... KIASU.

If you part with $10XX for a 16GB iPhone, why bother even if it comes with 2GB RAM.
Apps are getting bigger and better. Pics and video resolution and size bigger too. 16GB isn't going to last. iOS already take up how much space.
Not to prove you wrong, but there's another perspective.
A person can deal with ram intensive programs OR requires to switch around (via multi-tasking) to and fro at certain times, have multiple safari tabs open etc. whatever realistic RAM intensive usage it is.
Different user, different usage patterns. That is where storage size is not as important as RAM is.
I'm with 16GB 6+ for a year and I am doing just fine, but I am struggling day to day with the 1GB ram limitation. Running a intensive game with 1 or more communication/social app and I feel that it slows down. No such feeling on my iPad Air 2.
I am more willing to part with 10xx for a iphone with 16gb capacity and 2gb ram compared to 1gb ram![]()
I hate it as well. Now you got me wrong. Read my post again.
I didn't say extra ram not good. I'm saying extra ram or not, 16GB capacity is limiting your usage of the iPhone. Of course you can say effective memory management will overcome that but still it's limiting your iPhone usage 'freedom' isn't it?
