Louis van Gaal has requested a fence be built around the first team training pitch at Manchester United's Carrington base.
According to the Daily Mail, the security-conscious Dutchman has ordered a green canvas screen to erected around the boundary of the Aon training ground in a bid to keep his methods and formations more secret.
Apart from keeping out any unwanted viewers, it represents a good commercial opportunity as logos of club sponsors will be emblazoned on the fence, while the material will also be an ample wind-breaker which will assist the playing group greatly.
It is believed that the fence will be put up this week and next while the international players are away on duty.
