Hi guys, need some help as it is my first time in Bangkok :)

I have shortlisted Bangkok Mayfair and Sathorn Vista Marriott apartments, both are under the Marriott Executive Apartments portfolio.

I am intending to get a 2BR suit (4pax) - for that room type Sathorn Vista is a bit cheaper than Mayfair (S$230 cf S$254 per night). However, from some research Sathorn Vista is in a financial district and is probably not as good a location for a short-term tourist.

Does anyone have experience staying with either of these properties (in particular opinions of staying at those locations)? My priorities are good street food and decent shopping, Thanks! :)

Purely for location, I would choose Bangkok Mayfair. Nearest BTS Ratchadamri, one station away from Siam. Or if u r the walking type, then u can walk past St Regis, to Grand Hyatt to Siam area.

Don't like Sathorn - traffic jam is really bad most weekdays that I would totally avoid taking that route.

Have stayed at sathorn vista marriott before not bad...
room is 70m2 for two bedroom ...
master room with bath tub and standing shower
other bath room oni standing shower...

very clean and great for families!
Breakfast not that great, kinda small for 4.5* hotel ... more like 3stars hotel breakfast

no tuk tuk to main road. so have to cab, each time is 200b
most cab that time no go by meter when we went there
booked their 2bedroom with breakfast for 3 pax is 95sgd per nite that time:)
think they put wrong amt ... coz usual is 255sgd per nite for 3 pax

Thank you both for your input :) The prices above are the cheapest rates that don't include breakfast.
According to Marriott's website Sathorn Vista is 100sqm for the smallest 2BR Suite, I think the 70sqm room you are referring to is the Executive Suite for 3 pax?

One more consideration is the occupancy rates of the 3BR apartments. I have Marriott Gold and I'm hoping (fingers crossed) to be pushed up into 130sqm 3BR Suite - Mayfair's manager promised me that he will upgrade me at if there are any available at time of check-in, but Sathorn Vista didn't even bother to reply -.- Guess I'll go with Mayfair then!

Hi All

Amari Watergate Hotel
Grand Diamond Suites Hotel
Centara Watergate Pavillion Hotel Bangkok
Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam

Anyone stayed at these Hotel before? Is there any cheap massage @ the Hotel itself or maybe downstairs outside the Hotel?

Previously I stayed at GLOW Hotel and find it not too bad, same level with massage opened till midnight.. Now I thought of trying other Hotel but no idea if there is cheap massage around the hotel or maybe in the hotel itself. As it's just 2 of us girls.

Thanks
