i'll probably pop by tampines1 challenger and check if the type-c cables they have are rated 3A. depending on the price, might just buy online.

was about to post this. My understanding is that 4g+ or LTE-A is just the terminology, how the countries' carriers who had the technology want to name it and it is equivalent to CaT-6 LTE thru carrier aggregation.

Maybe any experts here care to advise?

ya... i feel it is better to use the actual LTE bands to confirm rather using terminology which is just confusing.

TBH I think the forum guy is not an engineer. According to Singtel LTE-A = Cat 6 = 4G+ = max 300Mbit/s = CA. So as long as the phone cat 6 and support the band (which the type A2 N6P can support) is already considered. Somehow I think the engineers have a more technical definition of LTE-A and 4G+ than I understand it to me, so as long as they answer 300Mbit/s and Cat 6, it's OK liao.

Anyway I'm checking internally with Huawei.

Lazada have approval process for your order. For this one sometimes not in order if CC company give problem etc. Also, too many units purchased, etc.

Convergent will process order EXACTLY in the order received from Lazada.

i'm also looking at monoprice cable, but they don't have USB 3.0 USB-C Male to USB-A Male Cable in Amazon yet. so i'll probably buy spigen USB-C cable together with spigen casing if i do not like the casing that the pre-order provides.

Just slightly confused on the difference on USB 3.0 USB-C. What is better about that? I see a USB 2.0 USB-C Male to USB-C Male from Monoprice that has a power rating of up to 3A too. Or is there supposed to be other difference?

Or is it possible to just buy a USB-A to USB-C Adapter and use it over current cables? Does it work the same too?

No demo sets available yet at Huawei's Plaza Singapura shop - I just walked in at lunch-time, hoping that I could get my hands on the 6P before pre-order starts next week. Sadly, nothing yet.

The store is quite big, but not a single customer (other than myself) in there at about 2pm. Wonder if this will change once the Nexus goes on sale?

I don't know Lazada policy. They have anti fraud measures etc. I don't think 2 sets is a problem at all. If got 20 sets then I think they delay a bit.

How does the preorder works? Preorder date is 2 nov to 11 nov. Does it mean as long as we order within the date period, we can get the phone by 16-17 Nov.

Or need to depend on the stock, i.e the pre-order might end earlier than expected (example 3 nov) because of out of stock?

Considering other brands (Samsung, LG, etc) are doing lots of marketing and Nexus doing nothing here, the crowds will be be a niche group of google purists (us people posting here).

But that is fine, considering there is local support for the latest Nexus already is a huge change from the past Nexuses.

17th Morning going out of Singapore. Don't think pre order makes sense coz no guarantee delivery on 16th. Friend coming from India on 14th. Mostly will ask him to get the phone from India.
