Starmax system4

Hi Terumo,
I've a current aircon which is non inverter and now is partially down but i'm thinking of replacing with MIT starmax sys 4( 3 br and hall).

My problem is, current pipings are run under a raised floor and i wanted to run new pipings with another route. But i still need someone to remove my build in tv console( master aircon piping underneath), cut off cornice and cut out false ceiling in order to layout pipings to my other 2 rm.

Will you be able to recommend a good aircon installer and who will also be able to perform all those other task as above in order to carry out my installation.

If i will to leave the current piping alone as it is, will it cause anything?

Thank you in advance ..

Hello thamkw,

Yes it is possible to leave the current piping alone. The trunking (casing of the pipes) can be remained there if you choose not to remove the old piping. That might save you some money. Because removing and changing the route could cost you quite abit.

You could try to call some of the numbers stated in this thread. They should be relatively reliable.

The contact that I have is called NG at 83660998.

Hope this helps ! :)

Hi

any kind soul can advise

Top up gas for R22 = $40-50

does this mean cost for whole system or depends on nos of fan coil unit? ie 2 fcu cost 80 to 100.

Top up should be per compressor/outdoor unit.

was charged $80 for topping up since have 1 compressor and 2 fcu(transport included)

i guess 2 fcu means 2 different system

Anyone can recommend a air con servicing company that does it at night as there is usually no one at home in the day.

I got a leaking aircon problem. And it keep dripping slowly even after I off the aircon after that. Seems like the whole air con is flooded with water. Any idea what might be the problem?

Thanks

Hi

Anyone have contact for toshiba RAS-10GKPX Infrared Rays Signal Receiver replacement? I believe the IR board is going to spoil as it is ON and OFF can work with my remote.

I checked my remote and can confirm it is not the remote issue so should be the board issit.

Circuit breaker tripped when we switched on our Toshiba Aircon. First time it happened, managed to switch it back on after. Worked fine for a few days then it tripped again. Now we are not able to switch it back on at all.

Installed since early 2012. Any idea what could be the problem?

Thanks in advance.

May be faulty wire(s) or short circuit. Need to check to confirm.
