My iphone last me 2.5 days with average use of calls / sms / WhatsApp and entire day having safari on background

I SMS, whatsapp, browse on Chrome and stream radio to my BT speaker for over 2-3 hrs a day at work, BT constantly on to connect to my Apple Watch and batt can last me almost 2 days as well.

Your Apple Watch got die?

Nope, I started out with 100% at 7+am in the morning and I use my Watch to control music, check notifications and occasionally reply msgs with it. At the end of the day after returning home around 6+pm, still have an average of 50+%.

Running WatchOS 2.0.1.

Bad is how you perceive it. The fact remains that the Watch needs to be recharged every day to 1.5 days seems to make a lor of people think that batt life is bad. But remember it's a smartwatch and coupled with a small battery with continuously BT connection, I find it's ok.

what do u mean by keep loading? sometimes bad network causes content to not load fully so e app keeps trying to load...
what i meant was that in facebook, there is always data being transferred be it via wifi or 4g. beside my carrier or wifi logo, the little circle keeps loading and never stops. whereas on my friend's phone, hers will stop after some time.

i wonder if its a problem with my phone or app or simply just cos there's too much nonsense on my facebook news feed to load.

If compare to Sony smartwatch, then maybe yes. My previous old Smartwatch2 can last me for several days.

Disclaimer: I do not own an Apple Watch. So cannot really compare. Only based on purely what I have read.

The main thing for me that it's a smartwatch and turning on/using whatever you need, irregardless of battery life as it's meant to function as it is.

My gear 2 easily last me 4 days with all that kind of usage

U'll need iTunes to do all your backups and syncs, even setting up a new iPhone.

You can backup to iCloud
You don't need iTunes to setup a new iPhone.

You can live without iTunes if you:
1) Don't want to sync songs/movies to the default app(you can download songs/movies to a 3rd party app and listen/watch from the app if you want)
2) Don't have a huge backup(you can purchase more iCloud storage and backup from there)

I didn't experience such issue. The TouchID is great.

If u having the TouchID issue, perhaps can try clear it and redo your fingerprint setup? IIRC, I read earlier this might help.

My 4GB data had been used up within 10 days of the new reset counter from StarHub, there's 3 days which on averaged eat 1GB+, why is that so much?

I see from my iPhone 6s Plus stats, most of the data are being used on safari & facebook. But I don't remember using both of them so much.

Any kind souls can advise how can i prevent so much data being used?

Facebook app is notoriously buggy and is infamous for remaining open in the background and sucking data. Until an official fix is released, either force-close the app manually after use or default to the web browser version.

I can't say that Facebook is 100% responsible for all your data and battery life consumption, but it should account for a fair bit.
