i also never put any tgsp on my n5. all along no sratch at all. but suay drop on the road whole screen cracked.

so now 6P i put tgsp is to hope it can prevent the screen from shattering.

Actually I always wonder.. When a phone drops and the Tempered Glass protector cracks... How do we know that it is actually protecting the screen? I mean it could be a case where the screen wouldn't even crack and because the Tempered Glass protector itself is weak, it broke instead.

Actually I always wonder.. When a phone drops and the Tempered Glass protector cracks... How do we know that it is actually protecting the screen? I mean it could be a case where the screen wouldn't even crack and because the Tempered Glass protector itself is weak, it broke instead.

Cannot be 100% sure, it is sort of like buying insurance. Hope that it will protect and if really suay suay screen still crack then at least can say already got glass protector. Nothing more u can do.

Yes, sorry for the confusion! Here's where were at now and what's shipping -

1. Case Friendly model is in stock and shipping now. No camera cutout or large cutout at the bottom - our initial version had the large cutout but was not favorably received Anyone who receive the model with the large cutout can get a free replacement from us. This is all we're stocking and shipping now (although we've had a few that went out from Amazon that were the prior version)
2. Edge to Edge model is shipping from our plant into our U.S. warehouse next week. No camera cutout and no open cutout.
3. Edge to Edge model at 0.2mm is in production now.
4. We're in the design process on a color matched border model. (Also working on some solutions for the rear glass).

screen issue

went down to service centre to try and resolve the pink hue at the top right/side of my screen. they informed that they can only repair and don't do 1-1 exchange and currently do not have the parts. this is very ridiculous since this is a defect (http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/help/slight-pink-hue-t3235093/page43) i don't understand why they can't do an exchange. this is a premium phone and yet this is the type of service they provide.

@MichaelTan could you advise? also, could you take a look at your PM. thanks.

the E2E will work very well for ppl who prefer to use it naked or with skin.

it could be as what you say. but i think that is a answer i don't wish to find out.

After 3 weeks of waiting I finally received the dbrand skin.
But they didn't send me my camera skin. Instead they sent 2 sets of the frames.

I bought the colour X also but they didn't give me the red insert!

So screw up this company.

A post after lurking here for the longest time.

I'll like say a huge thank you to @MichaelTan and his team for bringing in the Nexus 6P. After waiting for so long, I finally got my hands on it this evening! Your patience and passion throughout this whole episode is nothing short of amazing as a distributor! I don't know all the details that happened to put the phone into the our hands, but I must say that you definitely did your best to satisfy the customer. Definitely exceeded my expectations. A big THANK YOU to you and your team again!

This is exactly what I mean. All these tests do not show that the Tempered Glass protector is protecting the phone's screen at all.

Is there a video showing two phones at the same time being tested? One without and one with Tempered Glass protector?
