I'm seeing the stupid dnsunblocker ads since last night on android. Now on PC firefox (with abp installed) just informed me 46 popups blocked.

Something is very wrong. Never had this before.

As I have mentioned earlier, close.browser, clear cache and it should work. I resetted my network settings as well.

You probably have installed some free apps that has the adware piggyback on.

Just need to remove those and clear your cache.

Yo Boss, didn't install any apps for the past few days leh.

This pop up thingy started yesterday evening (Thursday). Hope this feedback is helpful if your team wants to do some CSI. ;)

Yup, did those. So far so good. But not sure if malware is removed or just dormant.

Hi admin, I've checked my network and it appears that the problem arise from the ad network you're using. Have tried the same ad network such as mothership and got the same problem as well.

This is crazy man. I am getting 550 popups being blocked and after that page cannot load, getting Entity Too Large message on the page. :vijayadmin:

Hmm, were you able to identify which network or ad?
We've several sources.

Folks like ourselves don't use adblockers and we use the site every minute - so far no issues on our end. Hence it's tough to pinpoint the issue.

But so far, it sounds like it's either a bad ad or adware on your own systems/devices that are causing the issue.

yeah... I'm having the same thing and it is irritating.

Apparently, the ads pop up only when I surf HWZ. :vijayadmin:

And there is a fine print saying some website will get a token amount when I click on the ads.

Sama sama. Only when surf hwz. Other forums bo problem.

I had the popups too. Cleared my cache once but the ads didn't stop coming. Cleared my cache again, the problem went away.

Noticed I had the same problem for Channel Newsasia. But no such problem for foreign websites like Guardian and BBC.

I've seen this on my iPhone. Clearing Safari website data under Settings helps.

We will try to find out what's causing this.

I can guarantee you it's not.

I'm using Android Chrome, latest version, LG G3.

Clearing Chrome data removes the issue.

Once that is done, if I keep myself off HWZ, the problem will not come back.

If I visit HWZ, the problem appears in 10-20 minutes.

After switching to GAGT, I have not had this issue.

I have tried switching to default app as well. Also infected.

Infection won't appear immediately upon visiting HWZ. Time delay of roughly 10-20 minutes.

BTW, just to make it clear: ONLY Mobile version for me. Desktop is perfectly normal.
