My neighbour staying above my floor is making noise every weekday at 4+ am. I have gone to her unit once when she made tgr noise but she refused to open the door. I have gone to her unit few times but she always had the door close. Finally yesterday I manage to meet her but she just denied making the noise and it continued again today. What can I do with such neighbour? I only manage to sleep 2-3 hours every weekday due to the noise and I am extremely exhausted with the lack of sleep. Thanks for your advice!

Yes, what kind of noise and normally how long the noise?
Talk a recorder go outside her house and record, or ask her direct neighbour if they are conscious of the same noise as well.
Stalk her movement and record it, see if she comes back or goes out around that timing (+/- 30 mins) to substantiate your noise claim. If no movement, makes no sense to make noise at this specific timing 4am !!!

The noise like keep knocking the floor. I dunno what exactly she doing. Not only me waken up by the noise, the whole household wake up at 4+ am everyday because of it.
I will record the noise. Just try not to complicate the matter by making police report.

I think she wakes up to pang sai every night...and stamping the floor to get the PS rhythm
What did your neighbors do to u? So how they resolve the issues after reporting to HDB and police?
Every night before reach home I am greeted by neighbors home camera facing corridor. Come 4+ am another greeting by stomping floor neighbor. Only the poor will understand the joy of staying in HDB flats.

there is a diff in sound between direct noise from unit linked to yours and dissipated noise from units further away from yours. an eye for an eye maybe? if can't beat them, join them!
Oh I've got sometin to share. are the tiles in your bathroom old/dirty/cracked? hammer them until the unit below got a leaking roof. when the below unit called hdb about the leak, you will get to split the cost of waterproofing your bathroom and replacing those tiles with your neighbour! Nothing will be replaced in the unit below, so you are paying half price to get your bathroom tiling done! The monkeys living above my unit are very clever, aren't they?

like you, i oso dont want further trouble since i'm like only renting a room. Saving for a flat to call my own now.
things they do:
stomping, dragging wooden furnitures, throwing things to the floor or are they always dropping weighty items? dripping laundry, laundry/bamboo pole drops onto my protruding window panes(at least once a year, even then it's too many in my dictionary), are they talking or are they shouting? hammering and pounding like using pestle/mortar. all these (and more?) regardless of time like 5am, 10pm, 1am, 2am...and lasts til they finally laid to rest or do they rest at all?
I'd suggest you give hdb branch in charge of your estate a try first. they may send an officer to talk to them. hdb suggests me to call neighbourhood police if it is late at night. Alternatively, visit the 30k salary MP of yours and see what they can offer. Goodluck.

i had neighbour below shouting & slamming door in the middle of the nite . I saw the guy he was mental unstable, sometime quarrel with passer by. Police occasionally come due to complain and nothing can be done.
living with it for the pass 10 year, what to do unless move out. sometime calling the cop cant really help much. They just give warning that all.

Is yours those BTO flats without windows facing the corridor?
Not sure if this is true, I heard from my colleague who just got his BTO, due to the cluster layout, sound can transmit from one unit to another and get amplified. He told us that when he was staying at his parents’ house not much noise issue.
