Hi Expert,

Starting a business. There are 5 staffs working in the office. Need internet access, mainly web browsing. Occasionally need to upload and download the video clip.

Would like to know is 100Mbps good enough? Which ISP? Singtel or Starhub?

Also need office lines, is Starhub SIP really save cost over Singtel ISDN?

Appreciate any advice please.

Thanks

I can't really advise, but based on the company I am currently working at, I know for a fact that we are using a single StarHub 100mbps business line to serve over 500 employees. My web browsing speeds are not fantastic but still acceptable. Not everyone's bandwidth usage will be the same, and it also varies with what they do.

Telephony wise, VoIP will always be cheaper than POTS.

The service level agreement (SLA) that the ISPs provide will be the most important aspect. Percentage uptime, outage response time etc.

This depend if you take as Home /Personal or Business.
For business need to have a talk with them first.
Understand their support when system or connection is no good.:D

5 users, 100mbps way more than enough. Starhub or m1, unless cost is not an issue, then go for singtel.
