Capital 21 opening soon in JB.

August 10-11 supposedly is the grand opening. Hope will bring Malaysia Carl Jr, Johnny Rocket and the various western fastfood all under one roof. Japanese fastfood like Sukiya and Yoshinoya would be welcome also as surprising that the same menu taste better over there in my opinion.

The opening now is 18 August. From the looks of things, i estimate ard Nov before 90% tenant occupancy and the inner area to be completed next year.

Chey ownself declare biggest in jb. I go search then found capital 21 floor area is only 1.2 million sq ft.

Paradigm mall at 2 million sq ft is bigger.

Vivocity as comparision is 1.5 million sq ft.

dont bother going Capital 21 till next year. Still lot of work need to be done. Paradigm on the other hand is 99% complete.

Don't bother to go..... most are not opened. Some are still preparing for store opening, and some, not sure when they will open.

I was there this morning, wasted trip. The build design.... I am not sure, but certainly not to 4 of us liking. The interior design very strange and also the mixture of shops... just don't make up.
Anyway, that's my opinion... no offence to the rest

Nice FR. Official opening is Oct 18. Msia allow open mall with 50% shops open & 50% reno completed. Like Paradigm, more worth to visit 1 yr after.

Looks like less than 50% shops opened. Even those opened, can see dun have much variety of goods. The tenant mix is also all singular shops not big chains. Toilet looks like 20 years ago shopping mall standard esp the urinal is those super small kind found in malaysian custom toilet

Yes, theme park I think is opened. Not sure everything is ok, but I did went up there. Need entrance fee
