Comparison of SIM only plans

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of getting a SIM only plan, and so far I'm leaning towards StarHub or Circles.Life after comparing the 3 main telcos and Circles.Life.

Does anyone know if any of the 3 main telcos offer free caller number display? I know Circles.Life does, and StarHub doesn't. I've always been on CIS plans so they've always been included in the plan.

I've done a simple tabulation of the charges of the 4 telcos:

PHP:
Provider Circles.Life Singtel M1 Starhub
Plan mySIM+ 20 4G 3
Base data(GB) 4 3 3 3
Additional data(GB) 2.5 2 3 3
Total data(GB) 6.5 5 6 6
Voice(min) 100 150 300 150
Free incoming? N Y Y Y
SMS 0 500 1000 1000
Voice $/min 0.08
$/SMS 0.05
Caller ID Free 5.35 5.35 5.35
Additional data 0 5.35 5.90 6
Base price 28 20 20 21.45

40GB for $25 is a rare decent offer from SingTel, but despite more minutes and SMS, if I were to need 40GB I would probably go with Grid Mobile for $24.90. Not that the 10 cents difference is attractive, but the free 1GB roaming to Malaysia is useful for me.

Plus no contact for Grid.

I got to agree that the free 1GB has been useful for my weekend trips to JB as well. Plus, grid mobile comes with the grid points so if you referral enough friends, you get to offset your bills, imo, very value for money.

Hi, for those on Grid Mobile using iPhone, are you able to activate your iMessage/FaceTime? This activation sends an sms to Apple’s overseas servers = international sms. I know Gomo and Giga can’t so was wondering about Grid. Thanks in advance!

I'm not a grid user myself, but gotta agree that grid points is pretty attractive. Refer 4 friends in a month for a 1000 points and offset your next bill.

I know about Grid and even Grid CIS offer is better than what they offer to consumer but still without VoLTE I won’t even sign up with them.

How to sign up for this plan which gives 40GB for $25?
Looks like good value!
