Pursuing a post-graduate program with SMU and found that SMU Admission Test is a criteria for admissions. Couldn't find any information regarding the preparation for SMU's SHL Test.

Thus, decided to share my journey here and allow other takers to refer, if need be.

My personal take is that there is no need to pay for practice questions. All the free practice questions should be sufficient to get yourself prepared.

The SHL Official Practice Questions are relatively tougher. The actual test is rather simple.

As for inductive reasoning, just keep doing the free practice tests and note how many 'patterns' would form the next puzzle. Usually, that would help.

All the best!

edit: For a start, just attempt all the free questions available in the links below (especially Link #3, #4 and #5). My personal take is that there is no necessity to pay for their practice questions.

I have taken it, 3 segments of assessment: verbal reasoning, inductive reasoning and numerical reasoning...I missed the mark in both verbal and inductive....

The assessment-centre practice tests as recommended by smu is not really good as the answers to inductive reasoning are difficult to understand

Personally, I like the inductive reasoning practice, as posted in the Link #3, above.

https://www.assessmentday.co.uk/inductive_reasoning.htm

It even gives you the solutions for the practice questions.

As for Verbal, the SMU recommended SHL Test is much more difficult that the actual test. So the recommended SHL Test for VErbal is not a good gauge.
