Y no admin answer moi?
admin will say no comment and link you back to the mod that did itY no admin answer moi?
I prefer lemon tree.Because firstly you’re prancing around the coconut tree. Secondly, you’re a Chinese, so mind your own business. Finally, to answer you, many spices involved. Not worth the fingering.
I wonder why …..I prefer lemon tree.
I wonder why …..
**** is an india agreement
The bank is losing $
He buying losing $ bank still can get so much salary
Tell me how is this racist?
Yes **** is used to refer to overseas Indian but there nothing unfavourable about the usage in this sentence.Individual words and the context of use are two different things.
Aren't you actually using "****" to refer to "overseas indians", which is used in an unfavourable context than about the **** trade agreement?
If you really wanted to convey what you mean, there is no reason to use '****' in your sentence. Here I've fixed it for you ==>
"knn buy laskmi bank still can get so kuch celery"

I don't see anything wrong. its factual and nothing unsavoury. Laskmi bank is an Indian bank no?
This I tend to agree I do find it very childish and silly that so many tend to use the term **** to refer to Indian Indians. There's too much misuse of the word '****'.
It's time to stop referring to people/agreement/Indians incorrectly.
**** does not equate nor refer to overseas Indians.
Use it for what it's supposed to be used for (the agreement and what it allows) and not for the convenience of calling a certain group of people.
In this statement, there's no reason to use "****".
**** is the agreement that gave DBS an advantage to establish themselves in India. There is nothing wrong or racist in using this term in this context, except it being potentially politically unfavourable for the incumbent. There's too much misuse of the word '****'.

The forum will not condone such racist / discriminatory remarks. User has been t-banned.Because firstly you’re prancing around the coconut tree. Secondly, you’re a Chinese, so mind your own business. Finally, to answer you, many spices involved. Not worth the fingering.

No comments or limitations for these terms.Hi Vijay,
If it is considered inappropriate to use **** to refer to overseas indian national in this forum, then can we assume that the following are also inappropriate and penalizable:
AT - chinese nationals
ATB - female chinese nationals
AMDK - male caucasians
AMDL - female caucasians
Ruskies - russian nationals
Await for your reply.
So basically Orionz is correct? No comments or limitations for these terms.
And they don't refer to something else important like the **** agreement, which unfortunately isn't positively appreciated and carries tensions enough that it is debated and clarified time after time by the government.
I hope you understand there is a difference and why we shouldn't for the sake of convenience lump foreign Indians, foreign Indians working locally as '****'. It's wrong, misguided and leads to people misusing the term and placing thoughts and emotions to the agreement unfairly on even the people.
Whatever beef one has about '****' is about government policies and hiring practices, and not the people themselves.
In short, like examples in other threads, it's not about the word or term. It's how it's being used and in what context.
There is nothing wrong or racist in using this term in this context, except it being potentially politically unfavourable for the incumbent.
@mgx-alander is a chinese, what's wrong with me asking him to mind his own biz re the coloured ppl in SG? Was it the coconut tree? @Dr.Vijay For your action pls.
Honestly I think the problem people have with the current style of moderation is that it is not deemed racist to talk about most races in an unfavourable context... It makes even less sense that only statements against particular races get looked into as well. I reported someone once on a post which I quote: "I find Chinese ppl like to give advice to other ppl which they never ask for". The report was rejected, not even a warning when the user called out a particular race in a negative context. Similar to this case, the point would've been made without specifying the race. If you do not think that it is clearly racist, try changing the race to a minority race and create a thread on it. I bet that will end up in the user getting points and be deemed as racist.Individual words and the context of use are two different things.

I last time created a thread what is Raesah Khan doing for Deepavali also got banned immediately cause asking what she’s doing on Deepavali is racist cause she’s a Muslim. The points eventually got reversed but that was after I serve a 2 week ban and appeal.Honestly I think the problem people have with the current style of moderation is that it is not deemed racist to talk about most races in an unfavourable context... There is usually no punishment dealt for calling a foreigner of a certain race with a somewhat negative term except when it comes to minority races. And if that is what is defined as racist even though I strongly disagree, it is should at least be clearly stated somewhere. Also, on the topic of racism, would love if you guys if something about this (https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/search/672504/?q=white+trash&o=relevance) rather than going around banning the "negative" usage of the term **** - just to illustrate the ridiculous double standards going on here.
And once again, all I am trying to say is that the moderation is incoherent and is a huge point of frustration for everyone, especially the older users who have stuck around with you guys for decades at this point. I think most of the enthusiasm (positive or negative) come from the emotional attachment we have for this forum and really do not wish for it to die off. All in all, it does not make sense for someone to become suddenly "racist" after 14 years in EDMW in the case of TS.
