Last week a JB shop owner introed me to a condo call Ponderosa ,

I just went FB searched, found a Jipun Agent posting a few listings all state want to rent to jipun tenant(s) only, like tat also can... i wonder there got so much jipun market meh

Depend how often the person use it. Standard is about 5-10 years. Like my wife usage very low, maybe more than 10 yrs then change.

Jb is not that cheap. Unless you are like many of the boomer aged ppl here, don't mind those filthy non-aircon coffeeshops/roadside stalls, study meticulously their public transport, it's not gonna be much cheaper.

Even so, unless you wfh is so easy going, can go missing for 2hr lunch, etc, reckon it's very inconvenient there.

You are better off with 1-2week airbnb

Unless it's some really popular stall, i don't see why would any modern sinkies wanna go to those nonaircon openair coffeeshops in jb.

Jb air is filthy. No health inspectors to inspect these shops either.
Makes no sense why would you cross border to enjoy a lower standard of living. To me the savings don't justify the sacrifice.

The only conclusion i can come up with when i see from ppl who like to do all these are boomers who wanna reminisce their childhood, or just extreme cheapskates who still wanna pinch pennies even when enjoying 3.44, or both.

What's your definition of boomer ar? For me is 45 to 70 are boomer.
Hwz is a place filled with such ppl.
