To a certain extend the price difference is noticeable

Some baby formula have a price difference of up to sgd$27 per tin

While some milk power for elderly folks have a price difference of up to sgd$14 per tin

What some of the local doctors shared with me is the there is still some difference in the ingredients even if the branding might be the same etc

Ultimately if you're willing to ignore the difference in ingredients

Then there's no harm getting from jb instead

Edmwers sufferings = cannot go overseas vacations twice per year, have to save a month of salary to watch Taylor swift concerts, have to squeeze in air conditioned crowded MRT cabins or airconditined buses to get to work, have to queue to buy labubu, so poor things. Singaporeans are already living in a first world efficient city with things organized. Those are what people called inconveniences, not sufferings.

Erm actually such milk powder savings only make sense when drinking the more atas mamil gold, infagrow, S21 etc.....then its cheaper.

Those on shoestring budget do not need to risk their infants health and die die wana drink such brand, when there are cheaper and more budget alternatives for them in SG.

Have they actually visited JB and gone to the pharmacy / supermarkets?

I went to a JB pharmacy few years ago and noted that the health supplement milk powder made with many vitamins and minerals (maybe the name was Glucerna) cost more in JB than the price in Singapore.
I pointed this out to my friends.
Glucerna is made by Abbott in Singapore.

My kids were drinking mamil gold... The equivalent in Malaysia is called mamex from the same brand. The savings is significant of course. After many years, I finally gotten over the stage my kids no longer drink formula milk.
