I would not recommend Letscool unless one is solely looking at the price and okay with slow or no response from their customer service, a big difference in workmanship between different installation teams and constant late for appointment.

Yup. Despite the 5 stars google reviews of Letscool which seemed very fake.
Aircon not cold liao, still want top-up gas and charge me instead of finding the issue. Feels like their JHK staff more stinky than ****. Until I met an aircon installer/renovator via Carousell that offers me the lowest price and do everything up to my standard. I will inspect and demand rectification if it doesn't feel right to me.

Still engaging his team to do aircon maintenance yearly. Hope he will be back to take a look at my BTO when the time comes.

We’re planning to install air-con in the living hall, 2 common rooms, and the master bedroom. Could anyone advise how many systems we should go for and the recommended BTU for each area? Thanks in advance!

Depend on how often the ac is switch on and your coldness. Not more then 2 bedroom then 24k btu (compressor) is enough

If u at home often then get dual ac

I wonder how Mitsubishi Electric can spend so much on advertising and still keep their air-con prices low... at least for their starmex entry range (FP series)... moi planning to get a system 1 btw...

A lot of technicians recommend ME also. Is it comms better?

easier to service. quite a few people will go back to the installer for servicing, and servicing pricing is brand agnostic. so it only makes sense for installers to recommend what will make their lives easier down the road.

Hi guys, heres a floor plan of my flat of 20 over years that will be undergoing reno soon, would like to get some advise on regarding aircon.

any recommendations on which setup/combination and what brand/model of aircon should i purchase? would prefer a daikin systems though, but am open to other brands as well.

currently have a daikin system 1 (RKM25PVMG/FTKM25PVM) installed in bedroom 2, during reno I intend to have this system 1 remove and install a system 2 for master bedroom and bedroom 3.

reason being for removing bedroom 2 aircon is cause bedroom 2 is for an elderly mother of mine, as she doesn't need an aircon.

am also thinking of installing aircon in the living room though, so i'd need some advise on what is the ideal setup for my scenario. would installing an system 2 for master bedroom and bedroom 3, and another system 1 in living room be ideal?

2 compressors (System 1 and System 1) will be more expensive. If both using, more noise?

You need to weigh if worth the benefits e.g. spilt load and if 1 compressor spoil (still got a spare compressor)

How often do you forsee the living room (inclusive dining area) needs to be cooled?

Usually, many houses are on 1 system. Cooling the living room + 1 bedroom during the day. Just cooling the bedrooms at night.

1) Can consider Mitsubishi Electric. Easier to maintain than Daikin. I have both.
2) FCU in bedroom 2 old ? Since doing reno, I suggest to put a new FCU at bedroom 2 also. Who knows you might need it in future.
3) Placement wise, just make sure there isn't any fixed cabinet or TV below the FCU.

 if say during hotter months, i reckon it would be on a daily basis? probably on a week day from evening time to abt 12 midnight...? weekends might be whole day...?
