Have some side income.. Save 100% of salary.. When retrench, u still can surviveIt's not that we no savings, is we fail to save.
Monthly salary come in, we only concerned how much we can spend, telling ourselves, whatever is left, we will save - in the same account.
Naturally, you end up saving nothing. 50K is not hard to save in 6 years. I managed a lot more times than 50K in 6 years.
Salary come in, take out 50% put into a savings account first. Over time, you will see it grow. If you can't take out 50%, do 30%, minimally you should be able to save 20-40% initially.
If you can't, you're overspending and over relying on credit cards.
Cabin crew basic very low.... Is the flight allowance.. My ex gf told me. I think her basic in 2000. 1.5k only. Even 4-6 months bonus not that much...People is cabin crew lei. Earn gao gao
I put most of my money in ETFs and UTs too, now jobless. So is every time need money then liquidate abit e.g insurance bills coming in, give parents money for groceries and other stuff or pay for parents' medical bills, etc. I try not to take transport (unless meet former colleagues, friends or go interviews, etc.) each week and keep my 1 meal on average (if home no cook) around $7.It's not that we no savings, is we fail to save.

Most cai png stalls, the oil is quite unhealthy. I rather spend more go Sukiya eat the $9.30 gyudon set meal, got miso soup and barley drink some more. I personally find their rice a bit more filling than the cai png rice. One cai png, if you take 5 hours to eat, like one mouth here and there... usually can last whole day one. I tried before, is can de.
