Can buyer sue his conveyancing lawyers?

What kind of due diligence was done?

Didn't his lawyers uncover this landmine?

Or did the guy acted against his advice?

If he can afford 5m for the house, he can afford another 50m for the lawsuit. He probably has 10 other 5m houses somewhere.

Nah it is just an inconvenience for the buyer right now. AFAIK the judge already agreed he is a bona fide buyer. The lack of title transfer is administrative only. Discovery is to settle who gets the cash payment and should not have any bearing on the final ownership of the property.
