Just bought denon x1100 w Boston 5.1 speakers (XS model) w free 2.1 Boston for 7.2. Planned to install 5.1 in e room false ceiling w e centre on e floor. I am using projector (benq S1070+) The default spk cable is 22AWG and looked thin.
I am not sure how many gauge is required. And which blueray player should I get as there are many on e market.

I don't think so...

That might be possible. Most places will have a model that suits this budget.

22AWG is very thin, something thicker shd be better, refer to following:

What about the sub? Worth shipping over?
You should check the voltage and read up on buying overseas from the sticky thread.
There are many options from local shops like KEC and City Electronics.

The person who looks around more, gets the best deals, cheers.

Initially planning to buy a Sony HTIB because of my low budget, wireless rear speakers & NFC/Bluetooth connection from mobile phone.

Now looking at my options on a proper entry level HT system, any suggestions for a low budget of $800-1.2k?
Am I better off getting a HTIB/Soundbar instead?

Hi,

I am seeking recommendations for an A/V receiver to replace a Pioneer VSX-817 which has an intermittent center channel.

The receiver would be connected to a set of 5 Tannoy F1 speakers and a Mordaunt Short subwoofer. This set up is connected to my PC via optical and receiving DTC signal. Primary uses are for gaming and movies.

I am looking a comparable replacement, 5.1 with auto calibration as with the Pioneer, and of sufficient power to drive it. Nothing too high end since I did not set up the system for audio fidelity.

Possible to get something not more than $600? Appreciate it that I could have your recommendations.

Thanks.
