mentioned in the first line.
in my opinion, that statement about ceasing the service should be more obvious and not under tnc page.
had also checked w singtel and they have confirmed that they are removing this service given that we have better coverage islandwide. to me, that reason is crap.
what will missed calls alert smses affects coverage.. zzz
Well, my office area has no network reception. So the missed call notification is good for me. Hope M1 and starhub will not follow singtel...Decision purely based on financial.
Probably to cut cost by taking out the service.
But I agree I it is not necessary anymore.
If someone cannot get through you, the person would probably just leave you a message.

Well, not all people will use wifi call... So still prefer to have missed call notification so that I can know who called me.If phone support and office got wifi, can enable wifi calling to receive call when no cellular signal.

No reception. Company has wifi but need to apply access. Don't really want to use company wifi for personal use as there are people kenna warning for using company wifi for personal use.No Singtel and no WiFi. This is quite a rare situation.
Don't tell me no landline? You can always divert unreachable calls to landline.

Possible to divert to land line, but just troublesome have to change back when out of company. Having missed call notification is just better for me.
My family members know my office landline number, so it's alright. Just feel that SingTel removing this service is just going to bring inconvenience to people like me.In the event of an emergency situation, you want to be contactable.
If you are relying on the Singtel SMS and if you continue to be unreachable, then you will not be getting the news.
