I recommend don't waste your time spamming on daggers. Don't forget daggers can roll both spell and phys damage modes, its not going to be easy to get something useable. It's cheaper to just buy one for 20c.

There is a major drop penalty once you exceed +/- 2 levels. But dried lake no problem even if you are level 90 as you will always be treated as a level 68.
