hello guys, need some help. going japan on the 14th of sept. will be reaching narita at 12pm. can suggest where to go on the 14th if im going hakone on the 15th? thinking about yokohama. open to suggestions.

If you fly to haneda, Yokohama is a good choice. just 30min away. Yokohama to odawara is nearer too.

hihi, if im landing at narita, is yokohama still a good choice? is it easy to get from yokohama to hakone? cuz only got half a day i didnt want to go from narita to tokyo and tokyo to hakone. so was thinking half a day might as well go somewhere along the way to hakone.

paiseh, you did mention to Narita. yes, like DS bro suggested, use the direct train called NEX to Yokohama.

take note that not all NEX goes to Yokohama. When you buy their ticket they will help you to pick the correct ones. The NEX Tokyo direct ticket at Y1500 is good value.

thats complusory? i cant do yokohama straight to hakone? need to yokohama>tokyo>hakone should i choose to go yokohama?

edit: thanks for spoonfeeding me the itinerary for yokohama. anyway reason for going yokohama cuz its out of the way from tokyo and i'll be going hakone on 15th. my trip is 14th to 21st. booked ryokan for hakone on 15th already cuz for some unknown reason 14th @ hakone most ryokan more expensive by 50-100 per pax. anyway, 15th will be hakone and 16th will be fuji q highland before going back to tokyo for the rest of the trip. so if to get to hakone i need to start from tokyo might abolish plans to go to yokohama.

My bad, u can travel there from Yokohama. On the Odakyu Hakone Highway Bus. Or on the JR trains.

Haha, it's just that most people usually take the Odakyu train from Shinjuku in Tokyo. But highway bus is fine, whatever works, right? hehe.

Based on this under access from airport, the best price/time would be the jr sobu/yokosuka airport narita which is 1620yen/111min. Then theres the box below it with narita express to yokohama station at 4180yen/90mins. But I can't seems to find information on this line. Anybody can help me?

If you take NEX(Narita Express) you only need to pay 1500. Its the best deal. Its a discounted ticket. 90min travel time.

the higher cost shown probably is the regular ticket price for NEX.
