I was looking at this story and brought back memories. Sad… I never been up to the WTC before they collapsed. Anyone here been there before? How many stories? In 2001, has edmw existed? Thought US security was tight but didn’t know such disaster could happened in one day. No wonder sinkie fighter planes keep flying every day but sinkie always find them noisy.

EDMW exists

I was chatting with others about this on the old forum.

Back then had to dial in.

Us talk a lot but never do one.

You go there can see how they manage security.
The main security is the customs officer that ask many irrelevant question but no bag check no nothing.

I remember when it happened. I was playing Red Alert 2 at that time.

Told my mum that it could be Russians somemore.

Just barely 3 months later, Richard Reid tried to (unsuccessfully) detonate explosives hidden in his shoes while aboard a plane flying from Paris to FLorida.

You can thank him for making everyone remove their shoes for security checks before getting on your flights.

His fellow passengers were the first to react and subdued him.

The explosives failed to detonate as the fuse was too damp - he had sweaty feet... :sneaky:
