I would choose MX100 128gb.

But if u can up budget by a bit more, you can get MX100 256gb at $165 or at $155 (From Tradepac).

M6S, followed by MX100, 530 and Evo.

If you're looking to use for laptop, go for Evo. If you like 5yr onsite warranty, go for 530

Dun really need it de... Your 3.5" hdd tray should have mounting holes for 2.5" ssd.

If dun have, den just put the sdd inside the tray. It does not have any moving parts, so its safe. Or you can use double sided tape to stick it elsewhere.

No need to purposely get the adaptor.

Besides, Samsung evo dun have the adaptor de.

Putting it in my 3 years old Dell XPS 8300 that has 2 hdd now.
Will see how. =:p

Haven't got time to install it today.
I have cable ties and tape as well.

* I might need a SATA cable ......
