I got no preference on brands, other than intel for the CPU

PC is mainly used for gaming

Prefer to get everything at pc theme at SLS, so I would appreciate it if you could recommend based on their latest price list, thanks in advance !

Motherboard + CPU: MSI H81M-E35 V2 + i5 4460 [$355]
RAM: CRUCIAL PC 12800/1600MHZ DDR3 CL11 VALUE RAM 4GB x2 [$88]
GPU: MSI GTX 970 4GB ARMOR O.C [$499]
PSU: SEASONIC S12II-Non MODULAR 520W [$85]
HDD: SEAGATE 1TB 64MB SATA3 2YRS [$75]

Hopefully can ask for discount then maybe you can add:
(Dont think you'll get a $170 discount though)
SSD: SAMSUNG EVO 850 250GB SSD[$179].

Or ofcourse you can change the GTX 970 to a GTX 960 and get the SSD.

I would recommend you to buy at tradepac instead, they are cheaper than PC Themes.

CPU+Mobo: ASRock H81M-DGS + i5-4460 @ $290
RAM: Crucial PC3-1333/1600 DDR3 RAM 8GB @ $75
GPU: MSI GTX970 OC @ $485
SSD: Plextor 128GB M6S SSD @ $98
HDD: WD Blue 1TB @ $70
Optical Drive: Samsung 24x DVDRW OEM @ $21
PSU: FSP Hexa+ 550W @ $65
Casing: Cooler Master N200 @ $55

Total $1159, ask for full rig discount. This is assuming you do not need OS though.

Well one of the reasons why I decided to go with PCT is that they could help assemble the rig, the last time I DIY took almost 15 hours lol, not to mention really crappy cabling

Does tradepac offer the same service ?

Yes of course. I guess most shops if you buy full rig they'd build for you FOC.

Wah your first DIY 15hrs?

My first build about 6hrs cos meddling too much with casing and cabling

slowly follow tutorial :(

the cabling I tried my best but end up real messy

to be honest, I was more surprised that the rig actually boot up without problems on the first try lol

depends on what case, my first I went for the NZXT Phantom series so the cable management was pretty good. Spent most of the time on manuals and deciding how I wanted to wires to go :s22:

Ain't that in USD lol

Yea converted about 1.5k plus. I was planning to buy during flash deal or Black Friday etc. so the parts will be cheaper. Like maybe 1.2-1.4?Plus the above price is just a guide. Normally can get cheaper. But I'm doing OC so a bit higher than TS budget.
