What's the difference between a cheap notebook cooler and, say, Zalman?

Laptop cooler is about airflow, positioning. Look at ur laptop vents, choose one cooler that fit the vent hole . Higher airflow means better blow

I was skeptic about a remark, saying that a laptop cooler is useless.

That's not entirely true. I ended buying a Cooler Master laptop cooler. The temperature readings by HWINFO still shows quite a high temperature, though there is a decrease of temperature, but not by a large margin.

So, buy? It is entirely up to you!

You can Try cooler master laptop fans! IM intending to get the NOTEPAL X-SLIM 39 bucks i saw from challenger! Cooler master are not bad
