i got 2 Noctua industrial fan ... one rear and one front.. the front one cannot, too noisy so i set the fan curve higher until 50-60deg otherwise sibei noisy :D

But during PC start up, both fans spin at Max, can be quite scary like fighter Jet...

I think he means those with rubber washers bah. Dont really know what he is talking about also LOL.

Dont get from xtreme solution. Chop carrot gaogao. Order amazon better imo.

Airflow fans don't need to be overly particular bah, can look at reviews or even shootouts of fans, see which has better flow rate.

Sent from microwave oven using GAGT

For me is see who chop more nia. that time i only need 1, so no more go Ama order. I bought my 7 fans for 177 LOL in Malaysia.

Actually 140mm case fans got a lot to choose frm. Bitfenix spectre, Aerocool shark, Corsair AF140. Just dun get CoolerMaster Sickleflow 140mm, coz they r so bad that there's almost no airflow, might as well not have the fans there.

Lol, Mikiberry recommended one leh, say get from Cyber**** kenna chop. In the end all shops also same carrot chop price ah :s13:

That is because the SG Distributor for Noctua has moved to C*b**mind address. So no matter which shop selling also comes from chop carrot source. :s22:

Thanks all. Now i read about case cooling get even more :s22::s22::s22:

Understand negative airflow = more exhaust fans pulling air out, and positive airflow = more intake fans pushing cold air in.

Also read that negative main disadvantage is that it will suck alot of dust in through all the nooks and crannies, but in general wil provide lower temps than positive.

Anyone have any input on what you prefer? Thinking of juicing up the cooling in my Arc 2 Mini and keep the components alive longer. I am using the default arc 2 mini fans (1 140m top, 1 120m back exhaust, and 1 120mm front intake)

if you're the type that don't mind opening your case to clean often then negative is the way to go. otherwise try to get that sweet spot. for me I use more positive cause I using reference card so the bulk of the heat generated gets exhausted immediately through the IO area.

The AF140 only if you have no restrictions, once you put a dust filter in front, feel like 80% air flow gone. Choose a static pressure optimized fan always.

Thanks all. Ill research a bit more. Yeah the Fractal case has dust filters on bottom, front and top. Maybe ill replace the stock fans with stronger static pressure onces to circumvent the grill mesh, and install another front intake fan.

Wont it be quite hard to get a postive flow set up? I mean there are 2 top exhausts, one back exhaust and the PSU has another exhaust, while there is only room for at the MOST 3 intake fans (2 front 1 bottom), and i dont intend to use the bottom intake as itll suck up all the dust that falls to the table...

I dont mind cleaning the filters because they are very easy to remove (pop open front one and just 2 screws holding the top one), but to open the whole case after a couple months - think i will get lazy ^_^
