$1K plus Gaming PC Help

Hi guys, first time trying to build my very own gaming PC.

So would like some expert advice whether possible to get it under $1.3K with a 1070 GPU and Intel Core i5 6500/6600? (not including monitor/mouse/keyboard but need OS)

What motherboard/cooler/power supply remaining parts etc to get to go with the CPU and GPU?

Mostly to play games like csgo (competitively)/d2/overwatch... (Possible some higher demanding games in future)

Case: Tecware F3 - $49
Mobo+CPU: Asus H110M-A M.2 + i5-7500 - $430
RAM: Kingston Valueram DDR4 2133MHz 8gb - $85
SSD: PNY/OCZ 240GB - $119

PSU: FSP Hexa+ 550W - $58
OS: Windows 10 Home - about $20 from Carousell

Compromise made is that PSU is not the best I would recommend but suffice for you usage, and there is no HDD for storage purpose. 240GB SSD might not be enough for the future when you venture to newer games, so you gotta manage your storage nicely.

In near future, add the HDD and another stick of 8gb ram. This is the most value-oriented specs I can suggest.

Rather use budget ssd with Superflower psu. The reliability gain from psu is more worth than the performance gain from budget ssd to samsung evo.

I5-7500 is better value than 7600. Only go 7600 if you have nothing more to consider. The performance gain is not notable as compared to 7400 to 7500. Hence 7500 is the value king of i5
