Hi

Im new to setting up a gaming rig, it's been 8 years since I've touch a desktop PC, used to have a gaming rig back in 2008, was unsure of the setup as it was not built by me. Decided to built a gaming rig myself as I missed playing FPS using Keyboard and mouse :s13:. Console too troublesome to aim and shoot :s13:. I've done some research and came up with a raw idea of the stuff that i want but it's kinda off budget and a little too steep. Hope the pros out here can help me out lowering the cost.

I wanna build a rig base of modern games such as Battlefield 4, GTA V and DOTA 2 ofcourse.

This is my rough Idea base on PCPARTPICKER.com, Prices from SGPCMART

Intel Core i5 4690K 3.5GHz Quadcore Processor + ASRock Z97 Extreme 4 Bundle - $514 (tradepac)
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing Cooler - $68
Corsair Vengeance Pro 1866MHz 8GB - $119
Seagate Barracuda 1 TB HDD - $75
Crucial BX100 120GB SSD - $103
MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4G - $579
Corsair CX600M Bronze - $116

Total roughly about 1.4K without case, monitor, OS etc

Kinda Over Budget :D. I need to reduce it as much as possible as its great for Battlefield 4 in Ultra Settings. Thinking about switching to AMD.

Thank you in advance.
