1TB drive recommendation

My Samsung F3 likely gonna fail soon liao, now trying to find replacement to replace it, came across 2 potential hdd that I'm contemplating.

WD Blue WD10EZEX 1TB

&

Barracuda Desktop 6Gb/s 1TB Hard Drive
ST1000DM003

can anyone recommend? Saw that the Seagate is the fastest :eek:

Hooted WD 1TB WD10EZEX with 1TB platter and 64mb cache, benchmark coming up soon ~

wanted to get the Seagate 1TB 7200.14 barracuda but like plagued with issues ... so sigh :(

This type of thing no need to benchmark... Blue is gd for storage.

hahaha just want to share my results with people whom are interested, I know it's a minor hoot but even small hoots, you can find a hidden gem inside!

Your hard disk ownship is like mine, I have both the WD Blue and Samsung F3 1TB hard disks.

my F3 lasted for quite a while, now alot of bad sector/sector block gg already, retired! Last time remember the F3 caused quite a frenzy in sim lim, all almost no stocks, chiong down to hoot!

So boh bian researched abit came upon the WD Blue EZEX with 1TB Platter, now got new one, the black with 800 platter!
