2 different partition in portable HD

Hi

A portable HD, can i create 2 partition, one will be NTFS and the other one readable and writeable on Mac OS ? Was using Gparted, what will be the right format under Mac OS

Yup sure you can. Just use Disk Utility that comes with your Mac and format it with ex-FAT format so it can be read/written both in Windows and Mac.
If you still want to partition it into 2 then you can use Disk Utility to create 2 partitions: One under Mac OS extended format and the other one under FAT32. Disk Utility doesn't support NTFS. You need to download some third party software for that.
