Completed:

宁安如梦 (Story of Kunning Palace), with Bai Lu, Zhang Ling He

A fallen queen, Jiang Xue Ning, who aspired to have the highest power and authority in her life, was held hostage by rebels after the king, Shen Jie, was poisoned. In this life, she used everyone around her to reach the authority of the queen, but in the end, she remained under house arrest, and Xie Wei slaughtered the entire city. Later, she received the decree to be buried with the emperor. She got a second chance to change her fate by not entering the palace, but when she woke up after rebirth, she was already messing around. 虎鹤妖师录 (Tiger and Crane), with Jiang Long, Zhang Ling He, Wang Yu Wen

云之羽 (My Journey To You) has just been released! Quite a surprise as there was no announcement of the release date beforehand... but this show was expected to be out soon:





I guess this means the recent news of one of the supporting actors getting arrested didn't affect its release. And also means 宁安如梦 won't be out so soon...

I think this drama can follow. Dark wuxia series, strong visuals, interesting storyline (an assassin group trying to infiltrate a strong family org within the "jiang hu").

Bad parts:
- non-stop playing of mediocre bgm in every scene to cue a mood (same problem as 长风渡), which is very irritating after a while
- the 大小姐 character (ML's elder sister) is very irritating, seems to exist just for comedy (or maybe to satisfy the someone's weird taste?)
- acting is only so-so from the ML and FL but at least ML looks handsome... the FL on the other hand...

Out until ep 4 so far.

Unfortunately the lead actress for this series is currently embroiled in some tax evasion news... not sure if it will affect the release date.

tiagong from the comments the delay or sudden stop was due to the costume too similar to japan style

i watched fast forward ep1 and watched last few minutes on ep6 .... wow .... 小兰花 become sword fighter
won't be watching this as the color tone too dark/black and the guys with that hairstyle i don't like

Spoken too soon. Out until ep 9. Thank heavens this series is only 24 eps. I don't think many people can tahan the FL actress' looks or "performance". Please stick to 傻白甜 roles so I can avoid those shows altogether. ML actor also can't carry the series.

This show is crappy. Stopped after the first 15 minutes. It tries to be a comedy but not my cup of tea.

Watching this now... first time watching something by 肖战. A 姐弟恋 story, reminds moi of the Xu Kai drama with Yang Mi (cougar-ish vibes there...). Tiong flavour ish a bit strong... not sure if can finish the series 肖战 is now filming 射雕 with 徐克导演!
