21 Days in Japan

Hi guys, i am looking for suggestions for my upcoming solo trip to japan. I have also bought the 21 days JR pass from Changi Recommends.

Itinerary :

12 May-14 May : Tokyo (just bought a baseball ticket @ tokyo dome on the 13, prolly gonna explore the attractions around the Tokyo Region)

14 May - 17 May :- Travel to Matsumoto(Nagano Region)
- Plans to explore KamiKochi/Jigukadani Snow Monkey
Park/Matsumoto Castle

17 May-18May : - Tateyama Snow Alpine Route
- Accomodation @ Toyama

18 May - 20 May : Kanazawa Region
- Visit Shirakawago and local attractions

20 May - 22 May : Osaka

22 May - 24 May : Hiroshima

24 May - 26 May : Osaka

26 May - 1 June : Tokyo




PS: I was hoping to explore Osaka/Hiroshima/ and maybe Fukuoka? before heading back to Tokyo.

I would think a 14-day pass would suffice coz the pass is meant to cover the long expensive trips on shinkansen and limited express trains. Can just buy normal tickets for travel within the city

Unless OP does a refund of the 21D Pass and get a 14D Pass instead.

thanks for the advice! but i dont think i will be able to have a refund for my JR pass tho.. Apparently on the website, it says no refund.

I’m not sure where you bought it, but JTB does allow refund so long as it’s not been exchanged.
