4G vs 5G speed

Hello, I think this has been discussed before, and in general currently 4G network should be sufficient and as fast with no noticeable difference between the 2.

But are generally are there any caveats to look after if one were to downgrade from 5G -> 4G plan?

I am currently on SingTel 5G plans, but contract up soon, probably will port to a Singtel Based MVNO to save some money.
Daily use is just Reddit / EDMW / Tik Tok / IG.

Current 5G speed is okay alongside the NEL, but any caveats I should look out for before downgrading?

Good idea, will try to use 4G for the next couple of days

Anyway, my downgrade meant downgrading from 5G to 4G.

My 5G came as free as part of the XO plans previously....

now it really does not make sense to buy the normal combo plans with phones.... the math just does not add up even with CIS discount

if you are surfing the net, loading twitter x, scrolling facebook feeds, scrolling tiktok now on 4G with no lag, then there will be no difference if you use 5G.

The only difference comes when you start streaming videos in 4k and beyond resolution outdoors or underground or inside the malls. Sometimes in the malls or on transit, when you try streaming in 4k, there will be slight buffer, with 5G, it's less slightly not to buffer.
