Hi guys, looking for advice.

https://www.99.co/singapore/insider...feb-2021-mcnair-heights-4-room-floor-plan.jpg

This is similar to my new home setup. The DB box is just my the main door near the kitchen. I'll be getting a 1gbps network for now. Need recommendation for router + WAP setup.

I am thinking of getting a dream router/dream machine (2nd hand + injector)+ one of their WAP Any other better recommendation? Dream router bandwidth maxes at 700mbps. Kinda a waste to to lose 300mbps right off the bat. Dream machine need to buy an injector and only supports WiFi 5 hmm..

I won't buy Ubiquiti routers, cost too much for what it brings to the table.

Their APs are fine so long you don't dabble with the beta firmware unless you know what you're doing. U6-Lite and U6-Pro are decent APs.

There are a few active threads discussing routers from brands such as Xiaomi and Asus, do give those a read, at least the last few pages of the thread to get an idea on what's recommended.

Since I got you here, do you know if I can send my POE through an injector in the DB box? And thanks for the WAP recommendation.
