What is MK ah?

mk restaurant... have many brunches mainly for steamboat which ppl carzy about... my wife heard from friends and keep saying must go... not bad can try... clear soup... but not tomyam... don't know is it because i don't know how to order...

in short, it is just HK steamboat, HONG KONG!.... the one i go got sell wan ton mee and roasted pork and duck...so i guest MK stand for Mongkok

had lunch/dinner there..
MK is basically all over thailand. If i'm not wrong, there is 2000outlets in thailand.
I had fruit juice and roast meat there with spinach noodles. not too bad and not expensive either.

ya... a lot of them... but to me it is not local food... just like going TW tour but eat Japanese shusi or go phutket eat pizza... but can try! but will not waste too many of my meal there...it is just like HK style food...

If u realised, 70% of the restaurant at any shopping malls are Japanese food, oishi, sukishi, shabusi, gyu grill, fumi, fuji etc etc. kinda hard to find Thai restaurant, except food court most thai dishes.

Because the real Thai food is by the streets! Thb20-30 per serving. Do you see many Singaporean restaurant in orchard road?

There are fancy Thai restaurants but ex by Thai standards.

speaking of fancy thai restaurants, there's a one called blue elephant, comes highly recommended by my colleague/boss. They ate the last time there while they were there for work but i heard it's really nice/really ex.

Hope that you have not change money, the super rich there rate is really much better, you can see for yourself.

And since your first day is near pratunam market, highly recommend to go change there.
