As long you see SIR unit is infantry so need go oversea training
Only 2PDF in reservist dnt need go oversea but also infantry

But guard unit, combat Engineer more siong

motorized means got terrex to sit so considered not as shiong as those no terrex to sit 1

Are you talking about the 5SIR near the MINDEF building?I was from this unit from 2007 to 2008 and it is a chiong sua (not motorised) battalion. I am not sure if things have changed for the past few years.

I won't sugarcoat what i am saying here.Training will be tough (going to Brunei for training/navex and Taiwan for ATEC is quite high) and the CO in my time was quite siao on but does give welfare to the soldiers there.
