Today I happened to view Bizgram pricelist and found 5TB & 6TB available for WD Red & Green.

Nice. WD Green 5Tb - $268, 6Tb - $329. Red 5Tb - $299, 6Tb - 368.

With Seagate announcing making 8tb & 10tb, it can only be good for us users, as price of 2tb and lower will continue to drop.

Anyway, it's about time 5-6tb enters the market.

Yes, if only 1 hard disk. No, if in some RAID configuration something like used in NAS. Of course with a couple of drives.

But bigger ones more risk if failed

No, bigger ones has no greater potential risk as smaller ones.

Only that you lose more data if fail.

I use WD Greens for 2 years 24/7 and yet to fail in a NAS setup that will allow 2 simultaneous HD to fail without losing data.

Only those who buy only one 6tb, store all data there and expect it not to fail, is really asking for it.
