Hi All,

I'm looking to get a 7900XTX but currently faced a few questions that I thought I should seek advice from the forum.

TLDR: Nitro or Aorus?

Sapphire Nitro+: $1599 Dynacore
2 year warranty all B&H stocks (forum posts indicate bad service i.e need to pay postage back to TW, no replacement card to tahan for time being etc) Can't find any more Convergent stocks. Love the design the most and read that quality from Sapphire is always top notch.

Aorus Elite: $1604 Bizgram 3 year warranty but read it always run hot and card design/build seems to be slightly lower quality than Sapphire. Is CDL service still good?

Asus not a consideration as prices are much higher.
MSI I read they just slapped old design cooler on it and called it a day.
Powercolour Hellhound is cheaper but I think warranty from AS. Anyway Nitro>Hellhound

Definitely the Nitro+ because of the build quality.

Warranty is important but not enough to change the recommendation.

Nitro+ definitely. It has one of the highest TDP of all 7900XTX cards out there. Build quality is stellar too. Many 7900XTX from what I have seen are experiencing very bad hotspot temps but the Nitro+ seems to be quite good overall with not much complaints.

Cannot recommend Sapphire - still salty that my R9 290 failed after 2.5 years and out of warranty.

I am using Sapphire nitro 7900xtx now but only because i wasnt able to get Gigabyte 7900xtx Arous Elite after waiting for more than 1 months as all the sellers keep telling me no stock. This was back in May-Jun, got tire of waiting so just went with the sapphire. So far no issue with Sapphire nitro except for the extra support arm for the GPU that comes with the card is pretty flimsy.

I wanted Gigabyte cause of the warranty 3 years + 1 extra if you register online. While sapphire only gives you 2 years. Althought i never use any gigabyte GPU before, but 4 years for gigabyte vs 2 years sapphire, i prefer longer warranty for peace of mind.

Wow 4 years vs 2 years is huge difference. I had thought it was only 2 vs 3.
