By taking out the weakest parties, stronger Opposition parties should form as efforts get focused into consolidation instead of fragmentation.
In fact, I see WP doubling its efforts to work harder in Aljunied and really get the Town Council issues resolved so it doesn't become a political issue yet again. Also, becoming a stronger voice by scrutinizing every line of every piece of government policy. And start building a future vision. Don't relegate it to the civil service.
SDP will need to double its efforts in making sure the policy papers keep being updated and stay on track to fight the good fight.
The rest either merge into a true opposition umbrella, or die.
