The reason why the younger sibling gets preferred entry in pri sch with older sibling is ease of convenience for the parents.

If your 2 or 3 children end up in different school, good luck with pre and post sch logistics.

So if your older child is no longer in the pri sch, why shd the younger one enjoy preferred entry?

does anyone know if using an uncompleted property to register for p1. how many years of leeway do i get?

I read somewhere that its 2 years from date of p1 registration.

Eg, 2020 - July start to register for P1
2021 - Attend P1
2022 - New property must be completed by end of 2022.

Is the above correct?

I think you are mistaken.
The system takes the address as declared on ur NRIC at point of registration and you have to keep to that address for the next 30 months.

So I doubt you can use the address of the incomplete property at all.

can la.. i found the answer to my question liao and it seems to be right:

From MOE website:

You will need to provide one of these documents to the school via email:

A copy of the original Sales and Purchase agreement for the private property.
A print out of the ‘New Flat’ page from My HDBPage, if applicable.
Note: The vacant or delivery possession date of the property must be within 2 years of your child’s entry into P1. You must also move into the new property within the same time.
