Accidental damage for Dell laptop

Hi all, I bought a inspiron laptop from gaincity and am very keen to add on accidental damage but gaincity says there's no way to add. After purchase I am now enquiring with Dell (routed to hotline in Malaysia) and the staff initially says the sales team can let me add on but later says not possible.

Like to confirm if anyone has other experiences to share on this situation? Is there any way I can still have add on accidental damage warranty after purchase?

Any 3rd party insurance for me to consider? Thank you

What was the reason given?

As far as I'm aware, accidental damage can be added via either purchasing ADP (so it changes from Premium Support to Premium Support w/Accidental Damage) or upgrading to Premium Support Plus.

There shouldn't be any issue to prevent you from upgrading.
