RHB froze my account without giving any reasons. I only realised when I called CS because I couldn't transfer any funds out. It's been one week and they still have not resolved this. Any thing I can do regarding this ridiculous situation?

I do this every quarter to freshen funds for hsbc promo but so far nothing (altho occasionally i get questioned on purpose of transfers machiam as if i am laundering monies.. )
Acct can also freeze if dormant for a long time. Suggest you just visit the bank in person and ask if can activate.
The CS finally told me the reason. Said they were doing background checks due to influx of account openings. They said some of my info like employment details is missing? So I told CS two weeks ago some rhb guy called me to get these details and I provided all of them. He didn't mention about my account is frozen. According to CS the info is still missing so that's why account is frozen. Yesterday they said they will update the system again and call me when my account is unfrozen today. Haven't received any calls as of 6.30 pm.
It's very ridiculous because the second time I called, the CS said my account had been unfrozen and I should be able to transfer money, but I still hit the same error. Yesterday when I called, the CS said the same thing and asked me to try again in two hours because maybe the unfreeze takes time? I tried in two hours and it didn't work. That's when I called in again and got the above info.
