Hi all, is the Acer Predator G3-605 (Brand New) worth getting
it for $8xx? or better to use the $$ to self-build one? Below is the specification, thank you

Or alternatively go for a more powerful gpu with an ivy cpu.

TS, with all due respect, coming to this forum filled with DIY PC enthusiasts to ask about branded OEM PC. It's just going to sound like blasphemy to many.

Kind of like going to church to talk about Darwinism and evolution. :s22:

A $8xx DIY PC will give you better value.

GT 635 with 2Gb DDR3 is considered thrash lah. GeForce GT 635 (OEM) | Specifications | GeForce

The standard here is very high one. Anything below GTX 750 Ti is bu ke yi and very sia suay. :o

Minimum 750ti (green camp) or 7770 (red camp) for FHD 1080p gaming. If cannot afford either of these, save up first then only think about buying the parts later.

the acer desktop's graphic card is not bad, its good enough
not everyone plays those silly bengster pc games such as warcraft, assassin's creed, etc

Considering the rig selling 13xx in store with tech suppprt and TS's not as tech savvy as the pros here, I think that's a good catch bah.

Every single thing I bought from acer ended up getting sent to their service center... I live in the west so no issues for me..
