Hi,
I am looking for 2 Full HD Monitors. No need 3D feature or touch screen. Just plain simple Full HD Monitors. Mostly for web surfing, office work and Multimedia Videos. Seldom game. Any recommendations?

27" Full HD LCD - <$500

21.5"/22" Full HD LCD $200

Thanks in advance.

normally a matte screen is better, less reflective.

Dell P series 21 inch. slightly above $200

What's the local warranty period for Dell P series and S series? Say a replacement for the U2313HM in terms of similar quality. The Dell S2340L? But it is so much cheaper, so what's the catch? Other than matte vs gloss.

i didn't monitor warranty but shd be 3-5 years. refer to Dell website for details.

u mean how is U series better than S?

U series has matte screen, different adjustable positions. P is a slightly cheaper version than U, but to me, still better than S. it's a big screen we're talking about so matte is certainly the way to go, unless yr an Apple fan.

Better to get 23" and above for FHD.
Otherwise the fonts esp on icons and the menu bars will be very small.

If you want to combine 2 monitors, you should be looking at monitors with thin bezels. I would recommend Acer H236HL.

Here's a review from Linus on this monitor: Surround Monitor Guide featuring Acer H236HL bid - YouTube

What about Dell U2414H? It's bezel is the thinnest I think, but retails for $358. Anyone can comment if it is worth it or consider a 27" instead?

Single? Dual it's just putting the two monitors side by side right? Or am I missing something?

Yes dual means putting two monitors side by side. Bezel thickness only matters when you are going for dual monitors as you want to minimise that black space as much as possible.

Actually, there are 3 important factors when choosing a monitor.

1. Clear or matte
2. IPS or TN (generally)
3. Size

So you need to answer those first.

For the usage. . A good ips monitor will be good.. but over budget
I don't get you. A good IPS monitor does not answer TS's question. And $500 is plenty for a single monitor so what do you mean by overbudget?
