Hi guys, seeing my hdd is giving signs of crashing, and games not as "smooth" as it used to... need some advise, if i can still upgrade my existing setup, or need to totally buy a new rig

Current Setup:-

Casing - NZXT hades (specs https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NZXT/Hades/)
Mobo - Gigabyte (specs http://www.gigabyte.sg/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3342#sp)
Processor - AMD Phenom II X4 955
Ram - 4mb DDR3 800mhz
GPU - Radeon HD5850

In my next rig, i need these minimum...
GPU - GTX 970 at minimum (futureproof it as per oculus rift min requirements hehe)

i believe its time to upgrade processor, ram size & speed, and gpu, and of course buy a new 1TB SATA HDD since my current one going to fizzle.
my existing setup can still salvage some backbone items? or can throw away? :D

Reuse casing. Sell the rest to second hand buyer.
