Advice needed for first timer building a rig

Hi all, this is my first time building a rig as my laptop's gfx just died on me after 3 years. I've a budget of 2.3k including the rig itself, OS, monitor and speaker. I plan on overclocking the CPU so I would need a K series chip and Z77 mobo. This rig is mainly for gaming and is usually on for long hours. Will be getting the rig ASAP once the setup is confirmed.

Below are the setup I've come up with, any advice would be greatly appreciated:

CPU & MB: Intel i5-3570K + ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 @ $467
HSF: Corsair H80i @ $158
RAM: G.Skill NT DDR3-1600 CL11 8GB [Black PCB] @ $77 (1 stick 8GB vs 2 stick 4GB any difference?)
GPU: PowerColor HD 7970 3GB V3 @ $496
SSD: Plextor M5 Pro Xtreme 256GB @ $265
HDD: Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.C 1TB @ $79
ODD: Samsung 24X CD/DVD Writer [OEM] @ $22
PSU: FSP Platinum Modular @ $125
CASE: NZXT Phantom 410 (Gunmental) @ $169 (Is the gunmental edition still available?)
DSP: Dell UltraSharp U2312HM 23" LED [eIPS] @ $255
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit [OEM] @ $110
WIFI: TP-Link TL-WN722N Wireless-N 150 Mbps [USB] @ $26
Speaker: Creative GigaWorks T20 Series II @ $129 (Any better recommendation at this price range?)

Assembly + Delivery: $30
Total: $2408 (exceeded my budget by $100, maybe I should downgrade the SSD to 128GB? Or any other solution?)

TIA :)

Planning on OC-ing to 4.5ghz. Yea, I also think the only way is to reduce the SSD size.
