Advice needed for new workstation

Hi all! After 3 years of not upgrading my computer, my beloved C2Q 2009 system finally gave out on me. As such, I would need to fix a new workstation with a budget of around 1-1.2k SGD.

Main usage requirements would be to drive programs such as Photoshop, Premier Pro and Illustrator, maybe with the occasional Dota 2 game on full HD as well.

Prefer to pump most of my money into a i7 processor and a good mainboard and PSU if possible! Do I need a graphic card to run Dota 2?

Any rig recommendation and comments are welcome!

1.2k won't land you a decent rig for your needs since it's a workstation grade, I believe you would need more storage. I suggest upping budget to get more reliable components.

Notes:

1) Photoshop, Premier Pro and Illustrator are all incapable of utilising hyperthreading for significant performance improvements and thus the fastest i5 CPU, the i5 4690, is used instead.

2) The Powercolor R7 260X is capable of playing DOTA 2 at max settings in 1080p.

3) The Samsung Evo 850 SSD is included as the fast read/write of this SSD will enable you to open/save large media files faster and thus helping to cut production times.

4) How did your old rig die on you? Consider reusing parts from your old rig like the HDD, the DVD-RW and the casing in the new rig to save lots of $$$.
